The Yamaha DBR12 is a powered 2 way speaker. Its larger and has lower frequency response and a little more coverage than the DBR10. Both are good for edrum monitors but the DBR12 is best for louder environments and can replicate the lower frequency electronic sounds better than the DBR10. Like the other DBR speakers the DBR12 can be used on a standard sized speaker stand or as a floor monitor.
