Pearl Mimic-Pro Electronic Drum Module - Used MINT

I've owned the Pearl Mimic Pro for 10 months now. I have owned or tested nearly every drum sound module. I can easily say the Mimic is by far the best I have ever experienced. The on-board sounds are excellent. But that is not even close to the extent of the excellence. The on-board Studio features are incredible. You can mix the instruments and kits like in the studio. It is hard to put into words the "feeling" you get when playing the Mimic, it is like playing incredibly nice, perfectly Mic'd and mixed kits. No feeling of latency, just natural playing. It has given me a huge shot in the arm as far as inspiration to get behind the kit. With VST's or even an "other" drum module that has really good multi velocity samples ..... it is like playing good samples ..... with the Mimic it is like actually playing that kit that was recorded! And having the full studio at your disposal to adjust however you like ... At least that is my impression. My business is building Drum and Cymbal conversion kits for converting regular drums and cymbals to electronic "real" drums and cymbals so setting the correct trigger parameters for getting the most out of the instrument is very important to me. Again, the Mimic is the best. It is possible to dial things in beyond what you can do with other modules and save trigger settings as presets . Inputs and Outputs again, just the best!. I can safely recommend the Pearl Mimic Pro as the one I would choose, and edrumcenter will always do you right. J
