The Roland VAD507 is a new electronic drum kit for 2022. It is an updated version of the VAD506 which came out in 2020. The new kit features the VH-14D digital hi hat, an updated TD-27 sound module, and heavier duty drum hardware. The TD-27 update brings you new kits and samples, expanded processing options, Roland Cloud support, enhanced VH-14D performance, and more.

I had been playing on the TD-12 for nearly 20 years. I treasured the capabilities of the TD-12 in that it’s exactly what I needed for where I was in my life. But this new VAD507 compared to what I had is like going from a Walkie Talkie to an iPhone 15+.
