Since these were introduced in 2017 ATV Adrums have become on of our best sellers. They have become known for great looking and playing electronic drums with mesh heads, and advanced electronic cymbals. All while staying quiet so you can play and practice at a lower volume.

These have really nice cymbal and tom/cymbal stands that come with it as well as a snare stand. Everything comes with a 2 year US warranty when you buy from Edrumcenter.

Perfect compliment to ad5 and the next step in edrum evolution

I received my expanded kit about two weeks ago. It has a second floor tom in place of the extra rack tom. In brief: it is exactly what I have always wanted in an edrum set.

To expand: the build and finish is flawless. The look is classy and 100% authentic looking. The larger hihat and cymbals make for better playability. There are no hot spots thanks to the new three trigger system. The hihat is more responsive compared with the vh13 I used previously. There is more dynamic range compared to Roland pads (pd128’s) even with the same ad5 module. The new cross stick detection with wood block is effective and more authentic compared with pressing a button on the module. The ride is even more accurate in terms of bell, bow and edge hits.

So any cons: currently none that I have found other than having to remember to shut off the hihat after playing and occasionally making sure the hihat isn’t rotating too much (which is rare).

So a strong recommendation for the kit as it is a very large step towards a fully accurate and complete simulation of acoustic drums.

As an aside Erik was terrific to work with and fulfilled the order promptly and professionally with excellent communication throughout the process.
