EFNOTE 5X Electronic Drum Kit

Thanks to the Edrumcenter staff for helping me land on the EFNote 5x after many days of deliberation trying to decide which ekit I wanted to purchase. I could not be happier with this kit. My top two desires were realistic acoustic sounds and playability. This thing crushes those two areas compared to another manufacturer that I had 3 years ago and had to sell because I hated playing on it. The sounds are fantastic, not hundreds of weird sounds that you’ll never use anyway, just a handful of great sounding acoustic kits. Once setup- which was simple and straightforward, I was playing and thoroughly enjoying the experience. This kit actually makes me want to play more. The unexpected huge win is how quiet it is. I think it is much quieter to play on than my previously mentioned kit. I really held off on replacing my acoustic kit with an ekit after my first failed experience, but EFNote has completely changed my mind. This thing is perfect.

Edrumcenter staff is fantastic, I had the best customer experience! I have just started using the kit. The kit was very easy to set up, head feel is nice, very close to traditional heads, the feel of the kit around you is so natural. The sound module is simple to learn and not over complex. Just an amazing kit for me and my intended use. This kit will certainly help me grow as a drummer!

I have had the Efnote 5X for about a month now and it has been incredible! Set up was pretty easy and it sounds amazing right out of the box (well it's more like a hundred boxes!). It has taken me a bit to really dial in the kick and hi-hat, but Efnote has some helpful youtube videos with set up tips. The drums and cymbals feels pretty similar to an acoustic kit, and the full shells make it feel even more like an acoustic kit. Overall I am very impressed with the Efnote 5x and would highly recommend it! The Efnote app has additional kits you can download, and it's pretty easy to "duplicate" the kits to create your own. There are more customizable options than I'll probably ever use, but you can really lock in some awesome sounding kits!
Also have to shout out edrumcenter for being such a great place to buy this kit! They were super helpful to work with and shipped everything out really quickly.

The 5X is a perfect match for the needs of our church. Eric did a spectacular job leading me through the requirements and the future use of this drum kit. The quality and stage presence are just what I was looking for. I did find that the best kit to start with was available through the Efnote app vs. the preloaded options. No one hardly talks about the iOS app, but I have found it helpful to load kits and adjust pad volumes when dialing in the overall kit volume. That functionality is in the module, but the app is more efficient. Note: My picture was taken through a drum shield, so there are some reflections that may confuse you.
