This is an updated version of one of our best sellers. Instead of the Talon 2 trigger system this uses the newer Talon 3 outside cone system to avoid center hotspots. This Hawk Custom 14" x 5.5" electronic snare drum has a metal shell and a cool Matte Black finish all around. This model uses a quiet Hawk 2 ply head for the batter side and the Hawk Talon 3 series internal trigger system. These are built and tested in our Knoxville TN facility and come with a 5 year warranty. Fully compatible with Roland modules, ATV, Alesis, Efnote, and also works great with Pearl Mimic Pro. Very quiet! About the same volume or lower as any other electronic drum on the market.

  • Quiet 14" Electronic Snare Drum
  • 2 Ply Hawk Mesh Head
  • Low Profile Rubber Rim Trim for quiet play
  • 5 Year Warranty
  • Hawk Talon 3 Triggers Installed ( 6 sensor outside trigger system )
  • Built and tested in USA

Looks and plays like a regular snare with all the benefits of E-Drums!

My E-Kit has evolved. Other than the kick, your snare is your most important component. So that is why I went with this Hawk 14". It looks great and plays like any other snare BUT with all the benefits of going from a Bright 13" sounding snare to a 7" Vintage Deep, all care of drum module. The 4 sensors are critical to making all of this happen!

FYI...I am a little different. I still use acoustic cymbals (Zildjian and Sabian). I just like the feel and sound from the real deal and really don't want spending major $$$$ for E-cymbals and the HH. My band mates like it too!

My Roland module is only regulated and used for the kick, this Hawk snare, and my 4 Toms. 6 outputs ONLY! And when I gig, I use 2-3 kits only! That is...the Toms and Kick are all the SAME, dialed in settings/instrument with only this snare connection that goes from Bright 13" to Mahogany to 7" Deep Vintage...depending on the song. Great service from these guys too as they really stepped up.
