The Roland TD516 is the latest electronic drum kit from Roland, succeeding the highly popular TD-27KV2. It features the upgraded V51 module, equipped with the same advanced sound engine as the V71, along with integrated WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The kit retains the fantastic PD-140DS snare, the VH-14D hi-hat, and CY18DR ride cymbal. Newly designed toms reduce hotspots for improved playability, while the larger KD-12 kick drum offers enhanced stability and better compatibility with double pedals. The updated rack provides superior stability and more versatile mounting options for toms and cymbals.

The TD516 Includes:

  • Drum sound module: V51x 1
  • Snare: PD-140DS 14" digital electronic snare

Amaze!

This kit is incredible. Upgrading from an Alesis Surge and it’s like going from a steam locomotive to maglev. The digital snare, ride and hats are simply fantastic and the module is packed with features I’ve only begun to explore. The onboard sounds are good to really good with a few that are more silly than anything but still fun to mess around with. The build quality is excellent, the stand is rock solid, and all the hardware is high quality so I’m confident this is built to last. I was torn between this and a 316 and so happy I got the 516. The pad sizes, module features and digital instruments are absolutely worth the upgrade. It’s easy to forget you’re even playing an ekit if you’re in the zone especially with headphones on. Edrumcenter was great, too! Fast shipping, good prices and very helpful when I stopped in to poke around in Knoxville.

Outstanding Service and Knowledge

I did a lot of personal research on edrums and narrowed it down to the Roland TD516. I had many questions and Erik was super helpful and made suggestions that were spot on. I am so impressed with E-Drumcenter and I highly recommend them! As for the drums themselves, they are awesome! Very well put together product. The drum monitor Erik suggested is a great add on. I love everything about my purchase! Thank you E-Drumcenter!

eDrumcenter is my favorite new business

Eric was super helpful and helping me select the perfect kit.I’m a guitarist who dabbles with drums, but wants to play a lot more and he was very patient with my more than likely dumb questions. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
