New for 2024 is the EFNOTE 3B electronic drum kit. This replaces the EFNOTE 3 kit. Featuring an upgraded 12" kick pad and 12" hi-hat, it delivers a realistic playing experience for both beginners and advanced drummers. Perfect for home use, rehearsals, or small gigs, the EFNOTE 3B maintains the powerful performance and user-friendly interface of its predecessor, powered by its acclaimed sound module.

At its core are meticulously crafted multilayer samples, providing incredibly lifelike sound. Each of the 111 factory sounds comprises 127 individual layers, offering unparalleled dynamic range. With fully editable sounds and 50 user memory slots, you can create and customize your own unique drum kits.

The compact sound module, housed in durable metal, is controlled through an intuitive touch-screen LCD display. Its streamlined menu ensures quick access to all functions, even for beginners. Sounds can be easily tuned, muffled, and EQ’d, while the virtual mixer allows precise volume adjustments and flexible output routing.

Practice features like the built-in metronome and rhythm box make it ideal for skill-building. You can also stream songs or play-alongs directly to the module via Bluetooth. The EFNOTE 3 module is equipped with a USB audio interface for seamless digital recording of up to 8 tracks, alongside 2 analog outputs, making it perfect for live performances, studio sessions, and teaching.

The mesh-head snare and tom pads feature advanced three-sensor technology for unparalleled sensitivity and precision. This is a great kit!

I have been an ethnic percussionist for 20 years and have decided to move into playing a drum set. I can’t practice with an acoustic set where I live, and thus needed to look at electronic drum sets. I am not interested in playing electronic music and hate the “beeps” and “boops” of so many electronic drum sets. I want to play acoustic drums, but can’t where I live. I also have a small space so I need a small set.

In going to local music stores I was disappointed with the feel of most electronic drums. The playability was just OK on some and barely passible on others. The cymbals were in my opinion sometimes the biggest weak link. They lacked expressiveness. There just wasn’t a set that I felt comfortable with purchasing.

I discovered Efnote online and liked that they focus on acoustic sounds and playability. The problem was that the nearest Efnote set that I could play was 100 miles away and it was also the Efnote Pro series which was out of my price range and two large for my space.

I took a gamble, and purchased the Efnote 3B sight unseen. I was nervous about it until it arrived. Not only was it packed well, but the quality and feel is top notch. Beyond that, the playability and feel is great, especially the cymbals. I could not be more thrilled with the purchase.

I find the module simple to use, and for the most part intuitive. I love that it doesn’t come with 100s of kits that I will never use and has a smaller number of high quality acoustic kits to play with a lot of expressiveness.

So far it has been a blast to play and I look forward to practicing every day.

On top of the drum set itself, Edrumcenter was amazing to work with. Scott helped me build the package that I needed, which included the pieces I didn’t have, including a small practice drum amp.

I would recommend this kit to anyone looking for a smaller electronic kit, that has great acoustic sounds and great playability.
