If you are shopping big box music retailers for your next eKit...STOP! Even if you are planning on doing one of their fancy finance options, eDrumCenter can pull out all of the stops for you. My experience with Eric and Aubrie was incredible from the moment I got in touch with them. We upgraded from a Roland TD-12 setup. We watched dozens of videos/reviews comparing the Efnote 703X to other drum sets. On the low end, it was equated to a Roland TD-50, but with more realistic sounds. On the high end, it dominated in every category regardless of the other brand/models.
The mix is so smooth, we created 3 custom kits to fit our worship set needs. As well the complaints that people could hear the "taps" & "hits" on the pads over the sound of the drums are now well in the past.
Will never buy another brand of drums again unless they can top Efnote.
I did a lot of research on my options for a top-end e-kit. Efnote 7 pro was the winner: and it was a gamble, since I had only played a 5 series at a local shop. The gamble paid off, as this kit is sensational. I have played Rolad kits since the 90's, and EFnote is a different beast altogether. Plays so great, and the cymbals are amazing ... too loud in the kit mix, but a small gripe and easily fixable.
