The EFNOTE 3 is a great playing and sounding electronic drum kit. Introduced in 2020 it shares all the same triggering as it's siblings the Efnote-5, and Efnote-3X with one main difference. The EFNOTE-3 comes with a fixed hi hat / hi hat control pedal design. Don't be fooled though the performance is just as good as the other version of the hi hat performance wise. Plus it saves you having to take a hi hat stand to your gig for added portability. The finish is also a nice "classic" White Sparkle finish to look great on stage or in the bedroom. The unique and lightweight "lambda" style stands not only stand out visually but also add functionality by giving you additional placement options than a traditional rack system. The cymbals all around are some of the best you can buy. They trigger great and feel great to play while still being made of sound dampening material to stay quiet. The drums are also very quiet compared to acoustic drums and some of the other edrums we sell.

The EFNOTE 3 module is the brain of this kit uses real drum samples and the EFNOTE pads and cymbals are designed to be sensitive and responsive to the drummer with the lowest amount of latency possible. Efnote has become known for good sounds and great triggering drums and cymbals. It has around 127 different high quality multiplayer samples of different drums and cymbals that are extremely playable. The module itself is very compact and the user interface is easy to learn and navigate. Lots of coach functions are built in like time check and accuracy scoring etc. As well as just a really good metronome. It has a built in 8 channel USB/MIDI interface so you can hook it right up to your pc or mac and start recording or triggering software such as EZDrummer etc. It has built in Bluetooth so you can pair it with your phone and play along with songs.

Update: Efnote lanunched a very cool app that lets you adjust kit levels, add remove kits, customize kits and more for both ios and android devices. It connect via Bluetooth and works very well.

Totally worth it

I purchased the EF-Note 3 right after I tried a good friend's EF-Note 7 pro and although the 3 doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the 7 pro, it does have the same sounds, customization, and most of all feel. This kit feels very natural and is the closest to real kit that I've experienced. The hi-hat action is impeccable and the crash and ride cymbals are awesome. Triggering is on point and so are dynamics. I'm quite happy with my purchase and EDrum Center made me an offer I could not refuse - Thanks Eric!

Incredibly realistic

I've stayed away from electronic drums for a long, long time. Anytime I played them, it never replicated the experience of playing a real kit. These Efnotes turned the tide. The feel is very realistic and the sounds are almost spot on. The level of features and customizability on these is very impressive. My only complaint is the screen of the sound module. A $2K kit should have a better looking interface than the screen of a Game Boy from 1994. With that said, most e-drums seem to have subpar screens, and the things you can do with it are amazing. Totally recommended. As well, EDrumCenter was great to order from and work with. There were a few hiccups during shipping, and they got right on it and made sure things were taken care of.

awesome kit for small spaces and home studio

This is a great sounding kit for the internal sounds, and it pairs up beautifully with my home studio and easy drummer 3 as well as native instruments. triggering is great. it is really great for small spaces. my home studio is in a 9x10 room and i have room for the drums, my desk and vocal area as well. I love it. when I eventually move up to a new kit it will be an Efnote 5 or 7.
