So Roland is at it again with new products. It looks like today is the SPD-One. There are four of them with different patches and capabilities just from looking at the info online. Where to start? We can take orders on Yamaha gear now officially. Will start adding Yamaha products for reference as time allows but orders are keeping us busy. We have a decent selection of used gear right now. Several TD-30 modules, some drum racks, various cymbals and drums and even an HPD-20. More is on the way too so keep checking back. I was lucky enough to see the prototype of the Pearl Mimic-Pro at Winter NAMM 2017. I talked to Raymond about the features and and watched him play on it listened to it. I asked to play on it but they were not letting anyone get any hands on it but Pearl employees. I did find out it works with Roland, Yamaha, and Pearl triggers for sure as all were hooked up to the Mimic-Pro on the demo kit. The dynamics seemed good on everything. The sounds were good. I hadn't been blogging as much because since NAMM business got a lot busier but I also personally broke my left elbow in about the worst way you can just after NAMM. That set me back some as I couldn't use my left arm for a good part of a month at all. Its gotten to the point where I can type pretty well now and do some basic tasks with my left hand. Physical Therapy is ongoing and painful as I have very limited range of motion in the left elbow but its improving slowly. The good news is...

Ok so I finally got a TD-50KV kit in that wasn't already sold. After trying to sell it for a few hours I couldn't take it any longer and had to start setting it up to check it out. NAMM is still over a month away and it's sitting right there! So I get a 6 pack of energy drinks and start to work. As usual Roland boxes these kits like champs.
