Custom Roland ATV Brand Hybrid Kit

Several people at the same time were asking about this combination and this is a history of how this kit was come up with and a few of the options there are. I first thought of this combination when I saw these kits at Summer NAMM in June. I'd already played the Roland TD50DP for months on my own personal research kit along with an MDS-50K rack and several used pads that I had in stock. I'll go into more detail on my research kit in another blog and just focus on the items used in this kit. 

The core is the TD50DP from Roland. The new PD140DS Digital Snare and CY18DR Digital Ride are just too good. Then we package with it the ATV Standard kit with no module while removing the ATV snare and ATV ride. This gives you the following items:

  • Roland TD50DP
  • aD-K18 Kick
  • aD-T10 Rack Tom
  • aD-T13 Floor Tom
  • aD-H14 Hi-Hat
  • aD-C16 Crash
  • ADA-SS Snare Stand
  • ADA-TCS Tom/Cymbal Stand
  • ADA-CS Cymbal Stand
  • Roland PDS-10 ( to mount the TD-50 Module )
